Gardenias are a beloved and symbolic flower that holds a special place in the hearts of many Southerners. Known for their memorable, gentle fragrance and delicate beauty, gardenias have been a staple of Southern gardens and landscapes for generations. Whether adorning wedding bouquets, placed on front porches as a welcoming gesture, or given as a token of affection, gardenias have become an integral part of the South's rich botanical and cultural heritage. It's no wonder we wanted to try and capture this lovely flower in bottle form.

Ode to gardenia dry body oil

Body oils give off a fantastic, sun kissed appearance. This lightweight, fast-drying body oil absorbs immediately into the skin, with no sticky residue or waxy texture lingering. Nourish your skin with our concentrated body oil, formulated with powerful botanical extracts and antioxidants to lock in moisture and improve skin's resilience for a healthy radiant skin.

In our opinion, body oil and body lotion seriously compliment each other.  The most effective application is to apply our dry body oil on top of your body lotion (we recommend this)  immediately after showering while the skin is still moist from the shower. Eliminate dry skin altogether

USE | Massage all over the body in a circular motion, concentrating on areas in need of extra attention. Or, add to your bath for a complete full-body treatment

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Virgin Camelina Oil

Cold-pressed extracted from Camelina Sativa plant seeds, carries a natural earthy aroma and characteristic nutty flavor profile. This unrefined material is golden or dark amber color due to natural variation of the raw material. It is praised for its healthy balance of omega-3 fatty acids and high vitamin E content which delivers superior moisturizing and emollient properties.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba plays the role of sebum and works to moisturize the skin while balancing the skins oil levels. Jojoba oil breaks down and removes the sticky buildup or excess oil in oily acne skins. It’s a strong natural treatment for eczema and acne, and well suited for other dry-skin conditions. Jojoba oil is an emollient, and will address dryness caused by a loss of water in the upper layer of the skin. It works by forming an oily layer on the top of the skin that traps moisture.

According to research published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, jojoba has proven anti-inflammatory benefits. There’s also evidence demonstrating jojoba oil can be effective for acne, seborrheic dermatitis (dry, scaly skin) and eczema.
