Community Supported Agriculture – The Stone Hollow Farmstead Way

Deborah Stone

We’re the type of people that get excited over local and fresh produce, and we want to share that passion with you. We have teamed up with other local farms to provide you, our valued friends and clients and community, with the best of the best.  If you’re anything like us, preparing healthful meals for your family is important. Knowing the origin and method of raising and harvesting the foods you’re ingesting helps establish a sense of pride and ownership that ultimately results in a healthier lifestyle.

With our CSA program, you’ll be guaranteed fresh and certified sustainably grown products, available for pick-up every Tuesday during your selected share. Within your weekly shares, you’ll find variations of fresh produce and herbs, Stone Hollow Farmstead cannery products, fresh bread, and occasionally dairy products.

Here’s what a few of our loyal customers had to say about our program:

“Stone Hollow's weekly CSA Program (Community Supported Agriculture) enriches both our family’s table and our healthy lifestyle. What a privilege to partake in organic, local produce and artisan goods on a weekly basis. Stone Hollow gathers the freshest products from our Alabama farmers and presents it to our family with recipes, advice, and diversity. It is my favorite day of the week when I can peek inside my bag to find what Stone Hollow has chosen—it is always a surprise and a joy.”

“Thank you for introducing us to Alabama’s treasured farmers across the state.  With Stone Hollow Farmstead’s CSA, we are cooking more at home and enjoying healthier and more adventuresome meals each week.  We always look forward to the online recipes and our Tuesday bag of surprises.  Highlights have been the Alabama fresh vegetables, gourmet baked bread, goat cheese specialties, jams, simple syrups, herbs, fresh yogurt and butter, and even wild flowers.  To Deborah and her creative team, thank you for enriching our family’s dinner time together.”
