Description

Small but mighty, the Bialetti 3-Cup Moka Express delivers that classic Italian, espresso-style brew in just a few minutes, no pods, no electricity, just a simple stovetop ritual. Its iconic octagonal design (a Bialetti hallmark since 1933) helps distribute heat evenly for a bold, full-bodied cup that’s perfect for a quiet morning, an afternoon pick-me-up, or a café-style drink at home.

Details
  • Size: 3-cup (brews approx. 150 ml / 5 oz).
  • Material: classic aluminum moka pot with ergonomic handle and knob.
  • Stovetop use: suitable for gas and electric; for induction, use with a Bialetti induction plate adapter.
  • Safety: features Bialetti’s patented safety valve (easy to inspect and clean).
  • What it makes: strong, espresso-style coffee (not the same pressure as espresso machines).
How to Brew
  • Fill the bottom chamber with water up to the safety valve (do not cover the valve).
  • Insert the funnel and fill with finely ground coffee (moka-pot grind). Level it, don’t tamp.
  • Screw on the top firmly, then place over medium heat.
  • Remove from heat once the stream turns pale and you hear the signature gurgle.
  • Enjoy straight, or add warm milk for a quick latte-style cup.
Materials & Care

Care: let the pot cool, then disassemble and rinse thoroughly.

  • Rinse with hot water after each use; dry all parts completely before reassembling.
  • Avoid the dishwasher, which can alter the surface of the moka pot.
  • Check and replace the rubber gasket as needed for a tight seal.
  • Store fully dry, with the lid open or loosely assembled to prevent trapped moisture.
Good to Know

“3-cup” refers to traditional small demitasse-style servings, ideal for one strong mug or two smaller cups. For the smoothest flavor, keep the heat moderate and use freshly ground coffee.
