Alder Smoked Sea Salt Baked Grouper



  • 4 grouper fillets

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 medium lemon | zested and thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves of garlic | minced

  • 1/2 cup unsalted softened butter, plus a enough to grease a baking dish (cut into cubes)

  • 1/4 cup parsley + basil | minced

  • 1 tsp Alder Smoked Sea Salt

  • 4 green onions | sliced in half longways


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F

Rinse the fillets and dry with paper towel

Place the fillets in a single layer in a baking dish greased with butter

In a small bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, minced herbs and lemon zest. 

Brush butter mixture evenly on top of fish and top with onion slice and lemon slices.

Bake until fish flakes easily with a fork, 15-20 minutes

Remove lemon slices and sprinkle Alder Smoked Sea Salt over fish and serve with risotto.
