Week Nine | Crisp Greens, Garden Roots & A Hint of What’s to Come

As we step into the ninth week of our Spring CSA, there’s a quiet richness in what’s coming from the fields — the bold crunch of garden carrots, the silkiness of bok choy, and the vibrant color of purple onions. These are the ingredients that invite slow, thoughtful meals — big salads, roasted sides, and one-pan dishes that let the produce do the talking. This week’s share is all about balance: freshness and depth, lightness and warmth.

You’ll also find rainbow eggs, a bundle of fresh herbs, a crusty French bread from Hinkle’s, and some stunning lion’s mane mushrooms from our friends at Grandview. The farm is humming this time of year, with preparations for summer picking up speed and spring still showing off its best. The first of the Dahlias have bloomed and we are thrilled for what's to come. We’ve rounded up some beautiful recipes to help you savor this moment, before we shift into a new season.
