Easy Peasy

Green bush beans in a pile

Chilton County is showing out this week! We are so very excited that summer’s first peaches have arrived and there really are none better than those from our farmer friends in Chilton County. There is no wrong way to enjoy these but we’re excited about trying this recipe with a savory bent to it. Be sure to use the cippolini onions from Stone Hollow Farmstead in this dish.  Field peas and red potatoes round out the goods from Chilton County.

The green beans in this week’s box have us pining for lazy summer days in the south of France, noshing on a delicious salade niçoise like this one – we love any dish that can be prepared ahead of time and served chilled in the summer! Be sure to include those red potatoes from Chilton County in this recipe too. And if you happen to have any leftovers, add them between two slices of baker Corey Hinkel’s fresh bread this week, for a portable salad of sorts.

Summertime is all about making the most of our time together and keeping things simple. We hope the contents of this week’s share help you do just that.

ENJOY!
